HMCC proud to support charity challenge

Last week, The Handmade Cake Company were delighted to present Frank Coughlan, Executive Head Chef for Baxter Storey’s prestigious British Airways UK Lounges contract, with a check for £350 towards his fundraising challenge.

Frank aims to raise in excess of £3,500 for The Springboard Charity, by trekking through the local villages of Northern Vietnam and taking part in a three-day community project to help rebuild a school in the poor province of Ham Yen. The Springboard Charity will be using this money to support 70 people here in the UK who face hardship and difficulties, giving them a chance to join one of their life-changing programs. Providing support, work experience, skills and motivation to move into a sustainable employment in hospitality. We wish Frank all the best in his upcoming mission!
