About Us

Here are three things about us that we hope will help you understand the sort of people (and business) we are:

1) We own ourselves - five of us and no banks - and we make cakes the way we want to using ingredients we are happy to use. No finance teams or engineers arrive from "Head Office" to offer us advice. In fact there is no Head Office. We only have one site where everything happens - our bakery in Maidenhead.

2) All our cakes are made by hand at our bakery. And we sell only what we bake ourselves. It really matters to us that our customers think our cakes look and taste lovely.

3) On rare occasions, things can go wrong. When they do, we say sorry and try to put things right quickly and thoroughly. If you are a customer and want to understand our commitment to this or feel we don't live up to this claim, please phone or email and ask for Parry, Michael or Simon (aka the bosses).
